Chance capture of MRTA leader Víctor Polay Campos in Huancayo
Víctor Polay Campos, alias Rolando, leader of the MRTA, was captured by chance in the Tourist Hotel in Huancayo. The National Directorate of the MRTA acknowledged, through a statement, that the capture of Polay Campos was a momentary setback and that it was a product of chance. This was one of the most important captures of MRTA leaders carried out by the DIRCOTE.
