Operation Victoria - Documentary
"Operación Victoria" (Operation Victoria) is a documentary report produced by Canal N that describes in detail the behind-the-scenes story of the capture of Abimael Guzmán Reynoso, the criminal leader of the terrorist group Sendero Luminoso, in 1992. Through the testimonies of police officers belonging to the Grupo Especial de Inteligencia (GEIN) (Special Intelligence Group) responsible for the arrest of the so-called Presidente Gonzalo, it shows how the meticulous police and intelligence work led to the long-awaited capture.
