29 Years of a Genocide
The Penales Genocide is remembered, which took place between June 18th and 19th, 1986. Those responsible for this horrendous act, which left around 300 dead in its wake, always argued that it was the "State's response" to a prison riot. However, the truth soon came to light and showed that the action was an extermination operation against people, many of whom were innocent, and who had been deprived of their liberty through the perfidy of the regime and the merciless iniquity of the anti-terrorist legislation then in force.
