Biopolitical Reading of the Government Acts of Former Peruvian President Alberto Fujimori
This study aims to establish, through a biopolitical lens, that Peru, during the government of Alberto Fujimori, was under a permanent state of exception; in which army barracks were used as concentration camps where anyone opposed to the regime was detained, creating a zone of indeterminacy between zoé and bios; as well as the existence of a death squad created within the army ranks, whose purpose was the elimination of individuals.
