Los peritos forenses Clyde Collins Snow y José Pablo Baraybar determinaron, mediante análisis de trayectorias de proyectiles, que varios subversivos fueron victimados en estado de indefensión, incluyendo el caso de Eduardo Nicolás Cruz Sánchez quien fue inmovilizado antes de recibir un disparo en la región posterior del cuello. El análisis de otros casos como los de Víctor Salomón Peceros Pedraza y Herma Luz Meléndez Cueva mostró múltiples lesiones por arma de fuego con trayectorias de atrás hacia delante, consistentes con ejecuciones extrajudiciales.
