Terrorism in Peru - Part II
The program "Sucedió en el Perú" (It Happened in Peru), broadcast on the state channel TV Perú, produced this special addressing the recent Peruvian history of the war against terrorism — also known as the internal armed conflict — that unfolded between 1980 and 2000. The purpose of this special is for new generations who did not live through this era of violence, pain, and fear to learn about it, and for those who did to remember it and ensure it is never repeated.
