30 years for equality, justice and dignity. Aprodeh anniversary
A video clip commemorating the 30th anniversary of the founding of the Coordinadora Nacional de Derechos Humanos (CNDDHH), an institution that in 1984 began its work as a small group of organizations dedicated to denouncing atrocities taking place in remote regions of the country, such as Ayacucho, a region about which almost nothing was known before the reign of terror imposed by Sendero Luminoso. The Coordinadora carried out commendable work during the harshest years of the internal armed conflict and of the government of the imprisoned former president, Alberto Fujimori.
