La Cantuta: Memories and Lessons
Over these 17 years, the relatives of the La Cantuta victims obtained a ruling from the Inter-American Court of Human Rights against the Peruvian State for this massacre, as well as a sentence from the Primera Sala Especial of 35 years in prison for Luis Salazar Monroe and the members of the Grupo Colina, a sentence that was upheld two weeks ago by the Supreme Court. And, of course, the 25-year sentence for Alberto Fujimori as the indirect perpetrator of the crimes. Published on July 14, 2009.
