Disappearance of teacher and nine students from La Cantuta University
Detention and forced disappearance of a teacher and nine students of La Cantuta by military personnel
Nine students and a professor of La Cantuta University were arrested in a military intervention carried out at night on the campus of that university. After the arrest, all the victims disappeared. The intervention was carried out by military personnel and the whereabouts of the detainees were not subsequently known, thus constituting a case of forced disappearance.
