Ayacucho: The New Path
The purpose of this publication is to provide the average Peruvian with an easy and simple-to-read text, without setting aside the technical and scientific rigor of the information used. It addresses topics such as the emergence of subversive violence and its impact and effect on the economic, social, political, and cultural aspects of the country, and the harm caused to the national productive apparatus as well as to the social fabric and community organization, the psychological and emotional damage to the population victimized by violence, and the emergence of new organizational dynamics in the affected areas following the defeat of the subversive groups, the pacification process, and the return of the population displaced by violence.
