The New Horizons of Displaced Families from Ayacucho and Huancavelica. Process of Integration into Urban Areas: The Case of Huancayo

This post-graduate thesis in anthropology addresses the phenomenon of displacement in Peru and attempts to shed light on the reality experienced by a large sector of the civilian population during the 1980s and 1990s, whose current situation continues to border on poverty. It also studies the capacity to confront and overcome the problems that characterizes displaced persons. Likewise, it undertakes the difficult task of capturing, through testimonies, the painful experiences of a group of victims of political violence, who were often forced to remain silent out of fear of suffering further marginalization and who, unfortunately, to this day have still not been adequately attended to by successive governments and relevant authorities.
