Resilience in Families Who Are Victims of Political Violence in Ayacucho

This university thesis addresses the study of resilience in 12 families who are victims of political violence in Ayacucho. Family resilience is the capacity of the family system to confront the crises inherent in the situation of the disappearance or murder of a family member, to overcome them, and to achieve a positive adaptation to the social and communal environment. A questionnaire was used to gather oral information from a family member about the conditions under which the critical event took place, the protective factors that promote resilience, and the risk factors that weaken it. Finally, a profile of the resilience present in these families is presented.
