Remains of buildings adjacent to a Banco de Crédito branch following one of the Shining Path attacks on April 25, 1991. That day, after President Alberto Fujimori enacted the Banking Law, Sendero Luminoso attacked several financial institutions in the city of Lima. Among these attacks was the explosion of a car bomb at the Banco de Crédito branch located at the intersection of Avenidas Rivera Navarrete and Juan de Arona, in San Isidro.
