Exhibition of seized MRTA materials
Display of MRTA materiel seized on April 22, 1997 during Operation Chavín de Huántar, carried out on April 22, 1997 by the Special Forces (FFEE) of the Armed Forces, through which 72 hostages were freed after having been held captive for 136 days at the residence of the Japanese Ambassador in Lima, Morihisa Aoki, following the takeover perpetrated by the MRTA on December 17, 1996.
