TARATA STREET BOMBING
Rescue operations following the Shining Path bombing on Calle Tarata, which occurred on July 16, 1992, in Miraflores, Lima. At eight in the evening a car bomb exploded in the center of the district, leaving 23 dead, more than 100 injured, and nearly 200 homes rendered uninhabitable.
