PCP-SL's Failed Attack on SAIS Sollocota
In January 1990, the main column of the Shining Path (PCP-SL) suffered a significant setback when their attempt to attack the SAIS Sollocota installations failed. This marked the beginning of the end for their operations in the region, as it led to the dismantling of their main column and support network. The resolution of land disputes in favor of local communities further isolated the PCP-SL, as the focus shifted to land registration and productivity, reducing the appeal of political conflict.
En enero de 1990, la columna principal del PCP-SL intenta atacar las instalaciones de la SAIS Sollocota pero fracasa en su intento.
