Massive march called by women's leaders 'Against hunger and terror' in rejection of the PCP-SL.
In September 1991, the leaders of popular women's organizations called for a march under the slogan 'Against hunger and terror' which was attended by a large contingent of participants. This march represented a central event in the confrontation of women's organizations against the PCP-SL and the violence it unleashed. It was a public manifestation of rejection of subversive violence and constituted a major step in the fight against terrorism.
