Yesterday (February 19, 2018), the Sala Penal Nacional (National Criminal Chamber) notified that the presidential pardon granted on humanitarian grounds in favor of Alberto Fujimori lacks legal effect. Fujimori will have to stand trial for the Pativilca massacre.
