Peru: Judiciary annuls humanitarian pardon of dictator Fujimori
The Preliminary Investigation Court of Peru's Supreme Court annulled the humanitarian pardon granted to dictator Alberto Fujimori on Wednesday and issued orders to locate and arrest him. The annulment of the pardon was requested by the relatives of victims of the Barrios Altos and La Cantuta cases. Judge Hugo Nuñez Julca declared the petition admissible and Fujimori will have to be returned to prison. Published on October 3, 2018.
