"Cicatrices del engaño" (Scars of Deception) is a documentary depicting various cases of women forcibly sterilized during the dictatorship of Alberto Fujimori. The film focuses on forced sterilization cases in the regions of Ayacucho, Cusco, Huancavelica, and Piura. This is a production by Hiperactiva Comunicaciones with the support of DEMUS — Estudio para la Defensa de los Derechos de la Mujer and the CMP "Flora Tristán."
