"Fujimori: the clandestine war". Documentary
"Fujimori: la guerra clandestina" (Fujimori: The Clandestine War) is a documentary produced by Agencia Perú and Frecuencia Latina. Taking as its starting point the book "Ojo por ojo" (Eye for an Eye) by journalist Umberto Jara, this documentary traces the evolution of the imprisoned former president Alberto Fujimori, who began as an innocuous presidential candidate who defeated Mario Vargas Llosa in the 1990 elections, and who during his tenure not only subverted democracy, but also oversaw extrajudicial executions and massacres, many of them carried out by the Grupo Colina.
