The Insurrectional Experience of the Túpac Amaru Revolutionary Movement
A version of the insurrectional experience of the Movimiento Revolucionario Túpac Amaru (MRTA) not as an added part of the violence deployed by SL, the Army, and the civilian population, but as part of a larger history: the one that built and legitimized insurrectional traditions and armed revolutions in the world, on the Latin American continent, and in the country. The MRTA is part of that history which legitimized contemporary political violence as an experimental culture of liberating utopia for humanity, but also as its tragic experience.
