Constitutional Indictment Against Former President Alberto Fujimori Fujimori for the Cases Known as 'La Cantuta' and 'Barrios Altos'
The ACCUSING SUBCOMMISSION proposes to the Plenary of the Congress of the Republic, under articles 99 and 100 of the Political Constitution and the provisions of subsections i) and j) of article 89 of the Rules of Congress, as amended by Legislative Resolution No. 014-2000-CR, that a CONSTITUTIONAL ACCUSATION be filed against the former President of the Republic, engineer ALBERTO FUJIMORI FUJIMORI, authorizing the initiation of proceedings, as presumed responsible for the crimes of murder (aggravated homicide), serious bodily harm, and forced disappearance of persons, provided for and sanctioned by articles 108, 121, and 320 of the Penal Code, committed in connection with the events known as "Barrios Altos" and "La Cantuta", Lima, August 27, 2001.
