The Dark Omens: Uchronic Perspectives on Shining Path in Prison
The objective of this article is to understand the political violence experienced in Peru through analysis of the uchronic perceptions of Senderista political prisoners regarding how they believe the political practices of a Sendero Luminoso government would have unfolded had it taken power in Peru (what would have happened if...), taking into consideration the experience of governance by Sendero Luminoso in the various prison pavilions they controlled, and at the same time, the symbolic reference they held of Peru.
