Shining Path's Barbarism Against Lucanamarca: Part of the Truth
Eighteen years after the massacre that Guzmán's followers perpetrated against the comuneros of Lucanamarca, Guillermo Azpur, journalist for Radio Melody of Ayacucho and correspondent for ideele (radio and magazine), traveled to Lucanamarca together with Carlos Enrique Valenzuela Arce, also a journalist from the area, to seek out the memories of survivors and their expectations regarding a Truth Commission.
