THE FUJIMORI CASE: THE LEADER'S DISCOURSE
Alberto Fujimori has begun his substantive defense in the trial against him for serious human rights violations in the Barrios Altos and La Cantuta cases. Although he emphasized what he calls the legal pacification strategy, it was a speech that fundamentally sought to send explicit political messages.
