In recent weeks, an "explosive" topic related to the historical legacy of terrorism has entered the national debate. We therefore consider it important to offer some initial impressions on the matter. The entry of this topic onto the agenda has not been the product of "psychosocial" operations as some believe, but rather of objective facts, such as the release from prison of the American Lori Berenson and the participation in the electoral arena of people who come from the MRTA and Sendero Luminoso, among other events.
