Terrorist Violence in Peru, Shining Path and International Protection of Human Rights
This research studies "Sendero Luminoso" from its name, origin, evolution, plans, ideological and political foundation, modus operandi, civil associations working against it, and its relationship to international and domestic provisions on Human Rights; for terrorism attacks the principles, customs, and international and domestic norms that protect the rights of individuals and essential individual and social interests, constituting a grave expression of aggression against humanity.
