State Denounced for Favoring Impunity in the Case of Forced Sterilization Victims
The Peruvian State faces a new lawsuit in an international forum for human rights violations. The feminist organization DEMUS denounced the State for violating the human rights of women who were sterilized against their will during the government of Alberto Fujimori, and for failing to guarantee their access to justice and reparation. On the contrary, it left this crime against humanity unpunished.
