Barbarism Looms Over Lima Again
A car bomb containing approximately 100 kilograms of explosives detonated at 4:20 in the early morning of Wednesday the 24th, in front of the casino of the Hotel María Angola, located on block 6 of Av. La Paz in Miraflores. The toll from this attack is five dead and some fifty wounded. One of the victims is the casino supervisor, 24 years old and identified as Patty Muñoz, who had reportedly been married only a month earlier. Material damage is extensive and has affected several city blocks in the surrounding area. Published May 25, 1995.
