Shining Path: Capitulatory Coincidences
Some time ago, here at El Diario Internacional, we noted that if the "Proseguir" group — which for a time opposed capitulation and the "peace letters" — failed to make an ideological definition regarding the leadership of the Partido Comunista del Perú (PCP), known as Sendero Luminoso, it would head straight toward capitulation and would eventually adopt the same positions as those who in 1993 crossed over to the side of the enemies of the Peruvian people and became filthy puppets of the Fujimori-Montesinos regime.
