Pacification and the Displaced. Basis for a Sustainable Development Program - Seminar
CONAPO and CER, with the sponsorship of FNUAP, organized this roundtable to which individuals and representatives of institutions involved in work with displaced populations were invited, as well as representatives of the displaced people themselves organized in our country. The topic is very important for the institutional objectives of CONAPO and CER. As is known, the Council's objectives include studying and proposing policies regarding all phenomena that entail changes in the demographic size of the country and in the structure of the population's distribution across the territory. That is why this phenomenon, caused by the social structure and accelerated by the conditions of violence being experienced, is a phenomenon that must be studied, and CONAPO has been formulating a set of initiatives aimed at appropriate treatment of these populations from its institutional perspective.
