The third booklet addresses lessons learned about the process of political violence and also about conflict resolution. The fourth booklet provides guidance on what should be done to overcome the aftermath of violence and how to prevent history from repeating itself, drawing on the recommendations of the Comisión de la Verdad y Reconciliación. The fifth booklet is titled: For community reflection. It explains the role of the Church in the face of violence, the Christian faith and overcoming violence, and the theological and biblical reflection on reconciliation.
