Pacification
The work begins by summarizing the conception of the world, life, and humanity from both Marxist and Christian philosophical perspectives; it then addresses the historical-cultural evolution that gave rise to the formation of present-day Peru, before going on to explain the origins of structural and functional violence through the successive cultural encounters and clashes that occurred from the pre-Inca era, emphasizing the relentless efforts to achieve national independence that are consolidated against the contradictions of the twentieth century. What until now has seemed something mysterious, reserved only for a limited circle of initiates in the subversive phenomenon — which since 1980 has disrupted the lives of Peruvians — is explained with clarity, weaving this reality derived from International Communism together with the development of the two main Peruvian subversive organizations: Sendero Luminoso and the Movimiento Revolucionario Túpac Amaru (MRTA).
