Analysis of the Comprehensive Reparations Plan Implemented by the State for Victims and Beneficiaries of Enforced Disappearance in Peru, 1980-2000
Her sensitivity combined with her vocation as a researcher leads her not only to analyze, study and review all kinds of documents, drawing on similar experiences from other countries, but especially to venture into the field, to tread the places where violence was harshest, visiting sites where violations occurred, interviewing the actors themselves, whether from the State or the victims themselves or their families. That rich experience is reflected in this work. These are stories that speak to us of humble, poor people ignored by the State and by their fellow citizens, who suffered the most terrible outrages against their lives and dignity, and who for years have waited and still wait for an opportunity to heal their wounds and to feel Peruvian.
