Spreading Wings, Opening Paths. On the Traces of Violence.
This publication coincides with the launch of the Centro de Atención Psicosocial (CAPS) as an autonomous non-governmental organization, though always closely linked to the Coordinadora Nacional de Derechos Humanos, within which we began to trace the effects of violence on mental health and published our first book, Frente al espejo vacío. At this moment when we spread our wings to open new paths as an institution, we have sought to make available to readers a compilation of texts written by CAPS psychotherapists, as well as by other colleagues and national and international specialists, who approach the effects of violence from complementary perspectives, and to whom we express our gratitude for their generous contribution.
