Forgetting Is Full of Memory. University Youth and Political Violence in Peru: The Massacre of Students at La Cantuta
University thesis to obtain the degree of Bachelor in Anthropology. Advisor: Carlos Iván Degregori. The thesis contributes to the discussion of memories during the political period of Fujimorismo. To this end, the contribution of memories and forgetting in the wake of the massacre of students at La Cantuta in July 1992 has been taken as an example. The thesis contains several annexes, including details of the capture and execution of the victims, statements by dissident General Rodolfo Robles, and an account of the tribute paid by students of San Marcos on the ninth anniversary of the massacre.
