Anco, Making Memory
At this moment, although pacification has been achieved, much remains to be done on the path toward justice, reparation, and reconciliation. "Anco, haciendo memoria" (Anco, Making Memory) is a proposal directed in two directions. On the one hand, it aims, through a reflection on the processes experienced, the recovery of these and the history of strength and resistance in the face of barbarism, for the population, its authorities, and its local government to design development policies that allow for the reconstruction of a social fabric weakened by so many years of war. On the other hand, it bets that the recovery of memory will help the people of Anco to reaffirm and enrich their identity in the current post-conflict setting, where local actors are day by day making countless efforts to overcome pain, exclusion, and poverty.
