Peace Census 2006
The 2006 Peace Census was prepared by the Ministerio de la Mujer y Desarrollo Social (MIMDES), through the Dirección General de Desplazados y Cultura de Paz (DGDCP), at the request of the Comisión Multisectorial de Alto Nivel (CMAN), which carries out the task of monitoring State Actions and Policies in the areas of peace, collective reparation, and national reconciliation within the framework of the implementation of the Comprehensive Reparations Plan. The Peace Census aimed to incorporate affected population centers that had not been registered in the three previous stages, with the intention of having a more complete and detailed record of the affected populations located in rural areas.
