Memory and Battles in the Name of the Innocent: Peru 1992-2001.
On the occasion of the publication of the second edition of the book "Memoria y batallas en nombre de los inocentes. Perú, 1992–2001," the Instituto de Defensa Legal (IDL) published this supplement to its journal No. 141, corresponding to the month of October 2001. This is the story of how thousands of people who had nothing to do with SL or the MRTA were unjustly accused of terrorism, detained, humiliated, prosecuted, and convicted, and of how they gradually recovered their freedom, after a thousand ordeals and having lived the end of the world ahead of time.
