Damage in an apartment near Tarata Street
Damage in an apartment near calle Tarata in Miraflores, following the explosion of a Shining Path car bomb on July 16, 1992. As a result of the attack, 23 people died, more than one hundred were wounded, and extensive material damage was recorded. This attack by Sendero Luminoso was one of the most emblematic of the early 1990s, when terror was used as part of the Shining Path's strategy in the city of Lima.
