Bodies of six teachers and two employees of the Ramiro Villaverde police school who died in an attack carried out by Sendero Luminoso on March 4, 1992 in Junín. The Comisión de la Verdad y Reconciliación has estimated that the 20 years of violence (1980–2000) claimed a total of 69,280 victims among the dead and disappeared; of these, 75% had Quechua as their mother tongue.
