SHINING PATH IN HUAYCÁN
Huaycán highlands. This locality was founded as a municipal lot program for housing in July 1984 and had a significant presence of Sendero Luminoso. The subversive group intimidated, threatened, and killed several local leaders, among them Pascuala Rosado.
