Formation of the Coordinadora Sindical in 1980
In 1980, the Coordinadora Sindical was formed to centralize actions and demand the reinstatement of dismissed workers. This was a response to the economic crisis and the segmentation in the labor market, which had increased the number of temporary workers not subject to collective bargaining. The formation of this body was part of broader efforts by union leaders to maximize centralization and address labor issues.
En el contexto de crisis económica de inicios de los años 80, las dirigencias sindicales buscaron lograr la máxima centralización posible para contrarrestar los efectos del desempleo y la precarización laboral. Se conformó la Coordinadora Sindical permanente con el fin de centralizar acciones y exigir la reposición de despedidos. Las cuatro centrales sindicales elaboraron un pliego único, y la CTP, CNT y CTRP constituyeron un Frente Sindical Democrático.
