Armed strike with 25 attacks in Lima

On February 14, 1992, during an armed strike called by Shining Path in Lima, 25 attacks were carried out, including the blowing up of a truck. The PCP-SL assassinated cab drivers during these strikes to spread terror among the population.

On February 14, 1992, the Shining Path PCP called an armed strike in Lima during which 25 attacks were carried out. Among these attacks was the blowing up of a truck. During these armed strikes, the PCP-SL assassinated cab drivers to sow terror in that sector of the transport sector. This armed strike occurred in the context of an escalation of violence in the capital, where between April 1989 and December 1992 there were 907 attacks and attacks, an average of approximately one attack per day.
