First meeting to organize rounds in Quero
First meeting of Quero authorities with the Army to request support in the organization of peasant patrols against the PCP-SL, after the Shining Path attacks of November 1989.
Felix Damian Huaynalaya, president of the peasant community of Quero, in light of the events of November 9 and 10, 1989, urged his leaders to organize the defense against the PCP-SL. On December 22, 1989, a visit was made to the Army Headquarters to request support to organize the population into peasant patrols, that is, Self-Defense Committees.
