Testimony of Toribia Casa Carrasco
On April 15, 2013, Toribia Casa Carrasco gave her testimony about the process of her displacement from Ayacucho to Apurímac as a result of the violence that occurred during the years 1980 to 2000. She feared that her children and nephews would be killed by the terrorists, as they had done to her brother and sister-in-law; for that reason she fled along with other fellow villagers and several orphaned children into the mountains where they suffered from hunger.
