Island - Documentary
In 2016, in Lima, the documentary Isla was made. It is framed around the dialogue that Elvira has with her grandfather, who published his book Isla in Huamanga (Ayacucho). She recounts the history of her family in the context of the violence. She also notes that both Ayacucho and Lima have changed greatly, but that the experiences of migration remain the same.
