"Spreading the truth". Documentary.
"Difundiendo la verdad" (Spreading the Truth) is a documentary directed by Felipe Degregori and produced by the Centro de Promoción y Desarrollo Poblacional (Ceprodep). Drawing on testimonies given before the Comisión de la Verdad y Reconciliación (CVR) by residents of the Ayacucho communities of Miskibamba and Huayao — testimonies collected in the Final Report — the film depicts the crimes and human rights violations committed during the Peruvian internal armed conflict 1980–2000.
