Contacting Shining Path - part 1
First part of a report by the investigative journalism program "Punto Final" in which they make contact with a significant terrorist column in the VRAE zone. Although successive governments sold Peruvians the idea that Sendero Luminoso (SL) was a dismantled terrorist group, the footage broadcast by "Punto Final" confirms that such a version is a clear falsehood. Not only does the group operating in the VRAE have a well-armed army, but it also actively indoctrinates children between 9 and 11 years of age.
